Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog! To start, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am majoring in advertising and public relations and will be graduating this May (yay)! I am engaged to the love of my life and I can't wait to marry him in October. Wow, lots of big things happening this year! I have four pups, their names are Basil, Sage, Rosemary, and Sheeba. Technically, they're my parent's dogs but when I move out I am going to try my hardest to take them with me. I also have a rabbit named Emerson. He's not like a regular rabbit, he's a cool rabbit. I am very close with my family and spending time with them is one of my biggest priorities. My hobbies include pilates, skincare, traveling, shopping, spending time with friends and family, and planning my dream wedding. One of my favorite places to travel is Charleston, South Carolina. Charleston is full of history and beauty... oh and did I mention ghost? That's another thing I love, a good ghost story. I want to share some of my favorite spooky stories with you all while I do night nightly skincare routine. I hope you all like them and don't get too spooked!
Today was my last day of class … ever. In a week and a half, I will be a UNC graduate. For today’s blog, I wanted to talk about one of my favorite classes at Carolina. By the way, if you thought this blog wasn’t going to involve something spooky, you’re wrong. This blog is about my English 148 class … Horror. Sure, it sounds like a weird class, but it’s really interesting. I took this class with Tyler Curtain and he was ah-mazing! We pretty much just watched scary movies, read scary books, and then talk about them as a class. If you’re an introvert, maybe this class isn’t for you. Participation is your biggest grade. We watched a lot of Stephen King we watched It, Carrie, The Shining, and Misery. We also watched a lot of classic Halloween slashers like Halloween, Friday the 13th, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and A Nightmare on Elm Street. Have you ever thought about how scary movies make you feel? Is it anxiety? Disgust? Fear? Anger? We really took a deep dive into understanding...
